Jer Mombo

Jer Mombo is a multi-instrumentalist and singer who frequently plays at venues around Lower Sackville where he lives. You may find him doing solo gigs at Pizzatown or Ol’ Biddy’s Brew House, both located on Cobequid Road. When he teams up with other musicians, he goes by the stage name Jer Mombo Project. He is also the Host of the popular Freejam Open Mic at Freeman’s Little New York on Sackville Drive.

As the drummer for The Square Bales Band, Jer performed at the Exhibitors Dance during the 257th running of the Hants County Exhibition in September 2022. He was  also invited to perform as a Special Guest at the Meadowview Farm Music Series in Centre Burlington, Hants County in 2022. He is already booked for the 2023 season.

Besides playing guitar, drums, saxophone, piano, ukulele, and harmonica, Jer is an excellent cook, accomplished baker, and even does DJ gigs. Jer brings life to parties in many ways, after all, Jer’s parents being Capers (Cheticamp and L’Ardoise) it comes naturally!
